Amanda Westphal

Amanda is a true lover of animals and originally dreamed of a career in animal rehabilitation, which lead her to graduate from CSU Long Beach with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. It didn’t take long for Amanda to realize that her extraverted ways needed more personal interactions, so she turned her path to Recruiting and Human Resources. Amanda spent 7 years in the recruiting industry which is where she learned a lot about the tricks to recruiting, onboarding, employee retention and much more. Her HR passion perfectly aligns with her HR Consulting role with Harbor HR because it enables her to help her clients excel each and every day.
When Amanda isn’t kicking butt in the HR realm, she is teaching Taekwondo, currently holding the rank of 4th Degree Black Belt in ITF and a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kukkiwon. Amanda also loves spending time with her family, practicing martial arts, fostering dogs and enjoying a nice glass of vino from one of many local amazing wineries.
